About

Every meeting tool remembers the call.None of them help you run it.

That gap is the entire reason HuddleOwl exists. The on-device part follows from it rather than being a privacy feature bolted on afterwards.

Notetakers won. Every call now produces a transcript, a summary and a list of action items, and none of it makes anyone better at the next conversation.

You read the summary, you agree with it, and you make the same mistake on Thursday, because the summary describes what happened rather than what you did.

The tools that do coach are built for the person managing the team rather than the person on the call. They are bought centrally, priced in the four figures a seat, and the output is read by your manager. That is a legitimate product and it is not this one.

HuddleOwl is for the person actually in the conversation, and it has to be able to say something while there is still time to use it. A note you read tomorrow changes nothing about today.

Three decisions

The things it will not do

No bot in the room

A bot joining your call changes the call. Both sides are captured from your own machine instead, which also means it works on any platform, and on a phone on speaker.

No cue without a quote

A cue that cannot point at the line it is reacting to is discarded in the backend before it reaches the screen. A confident model with no such rule will always find advice, and advice you cannot check is noise dressed as insight.

No server

The conversations worth coaching are the ones you would not paste into a web form. Everything can run on your own machine, which is also why the app can be free permanently: a user costs nothing to run.

Who is building it

One person, and no growth team

HuddleOwl is built by Ishan Vats, who also runs IV Consulting. It is not venture funded, has no growth team, and has never held a customer's audio, because it has never had anywhere to put it.

The installers, the release history and the issue tracker are all public at github.com/IshanVats-6/huddleowl. The application's own source is not public today. If something is broken or missing, open an issue there or say so directly, and both get read.

The claims on this site are meant to be checkable. Turn the wifi off and run a meeting; open a network monitor while it does; check a download against its published hash. If any of it turns out not to hold, that is a bug and worth reporting as one.

Free, and it takes two minutes

No account, no card, no bot in your next call. Download it and run one meeting through it.
