Meetily is the honest version of what a lot of products claim. It genuinely runs locally, it is genuinely open source under MIT, nothing joins your call, and you can read every line of it before you trust it. Speaker diarization on a local model is real work and they did it. If the source being auditable is the requirement, Meetily wins outright, because HuddleOwl's application code is not public.

Meetily is a notetaker. It records, transcribes and summarises, on your machine, very well. HuddleOwl does that and then does the part Meetily is not trying to do: cues while you are still talking, a scored rubric for the role you were playing afterwards, and a quote from the transcript behind every score.
