Pick your machine

All three files and a SHA256SUMS.txt covering them live on the release page. To check one: shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS.txt --ignore-missing.

Before you open it

Two things will happen,and both are expected

HuddleOwl is not signed with Apple or Microsoft yet. That is a paperwork queue rather than anything about the build, and it produces exactly one scary dialog on each platform.

macOS says the app is damaged

It is not. Drag it to Applications, then run this once in Terminal and open it again.

Requirements

macOS 11 or newer, or Windows 10 and 11 on x64. The on-device models want about 3GB of disk and 8GB of RAM, and they are optional: you can point HuddleOwl at a cloud model instead.

Updating

Download the new build and drag it over the old one. Your meetings live in a folder on your own disk and are untouched by an update.

Uninstalling

Delete the app and delete the data folder, which you can open from inside it. There is no account to close and no server holding a copy. Source of the installers.
